Are the trekking regions safe after earthquake in Nepal ?

posted by Mountain Delights Admin on September 25, 2015

As there are various predictions and rumours about the safe trekking in Nepal after the massive earthquake, we want to conduct the clear message about the situation of trekking regions that has been declared by the government authorities. According to their report, Langtang treks are not possible in the Autumn. In spring, the camping treks are possible, but not the tea house/lodge based trekking. If you are planning for the tea house trek in Laangtang, you need to wait till autumn of 2016. Similarly, Manaslu trek in this autumn is not possible, rather Manaslu trek after the earthquake is possible in 2016.

Except Langtang and Manaslu, all other trekking regions are safe for the foothill excursion. The most charming region, Everest is open along with Annapurna region, Upper Mustang, Dolpo and Ganesh Himal. Mountain Delights heartily welcomes you for the trekking in Nepal. We also organize different volunteer treks in Nepal, which can be the interesting packages for you.

Its been a while the earthquake shook Nepal which put a bad rumor on trekking in Nepal. Its true that some part of trekking destination is been affected but or all.

So i would like to say Nepal is safe as usual for trekking and other activities.
