Only a few foreigners are explored this region in the recent years. Ganesh Himal trekking offers spectacular views, untouched natural beauty and friendly in-habitations. The Ganesh Himal is named after the elephant-headed God of Good Fortune. The Ganesh Himal can clearly be seen from Kathmandu Valley. The Ganesh Range Peaks (Ganesh I, Ganesh II, Ganesh III, and Ganesh IV) stand out like crystal that is the "Great Himalayan Chain" forming the skyline. This great Himalayan massif is contained between the valley of the Budhi Gandaki in the west and Bhote Koshi in the east, which becomes Trishuli Khola in the lower section. You will see real Nepal in this Ganesh Himal trek, nothing has change so it is great change to learn about real Nepal and enjoy the our traditional culture.

Our Objective is to promote Tourism with social cause by using porters and staff from the villages we visit, we make sure that local people are benefiting form the trekking. We also us a part of our profit for sponsoring schools in the village we regularly come to.

Our company makes sure that our staffs are well cared for. We provide insurance policy for our staff in addition to the good salary and equipments.

Day 01 :  Arrive in Kathmandu airport
Upon arrival at Kathmandu, our local representative will meet and greet you at the airport and will assist with your transfers to your local hotel in Kathmandu. After rest look around Thamel.If enough time we brief about the trip.
 
Day 02 : Sight seeing in kathamndu (Hindus and Buddhist temple)
As kathamdnu is temple of the city. We take you famous Hindus temple Pasupatinath and famous Buddhist temple Buddhanath.
 
Pashupatinath Temple : It is a Hindu temple devoted to Lord Shiva, located beside the Bagmati River. It is one of the most significant temples for the Hindu devotes around the world and the UNESCO site. The golden pagoda style temple is richly carved with silver doors. On the day of Shivaratri, a big fair is held around the month of February/March. 
 
Boudhanath Stupa : One of the biggest Stupas in the world, is located on the east in Kathmandu. It stands with four pairs of eyes in the four prime direction, keeping watch for virtuous behaviour and human success. King Man Deva at the advice of the Goddess Mani Jogini had built this remarkable Stupa. The Stupa resembles the Mahayana philosophy. 
 
Day 03 : Kathmandu – Satdobato (1500m) 7 hrs drive.
After breakfast we take drive. The first part of driver to trisuli is black and nice road even though a lot of turning and corner. You corss Trisuli river and through trusili bazaar to proceed to sole and drive up to Satdobato which is bumpy road.enjoying the sight and passing through some local houses with great view around. Satdovato includes mix culture such as Tamang,Chhetri Braman etc. Where is also a high school and the health post. We do camping for overnight just after the town.
 
Day 04 : Satdobato to Bhalche( 1950m) 5 hrs walk.
 After breakfast we take gradual and last step up to Kisping for the lunch. It is nice walk throw terraces and village. Consist of tamang & Dalit people.kispang ha scenic group and small monastery of Buddhist people and on other side small holy rive with Hindus temple. So pligrimplace for both hinds and Buddhist people stay unity in Nepal.
 
After Lunch we continue gradual up to Bhalche village where we camp for toonight.It is an nice walk throw terraces, tamanag village and also can see nice water fall. Bhalche is nice tamang village where you have small school and government health post, we camp other side of village where you have nice ground and surrounding by Buddhist prey flag and nice Terrance and village view can be seen other side.
 
Day 05 : Bhalche to Gonga. (2900m) 5.30 hrs walk.
After breakfast we strain toward to Thulo chour. For Lunch and walk to Gonga or overnight. After Bhalche we strain through jungle, crossing some small streams river  on way. Now we approach to Thulo choour a beautiful ground in the middle of the jungle. Where are also some chattel Shed, people living in temporary hut. Who looks after cartel and collecting bamboo to make basket, take lunch here.
 
Straning through thik forest of pine & Rhododendron. Crossing some small springs then step up. We even see animals such as Himalayan monkey and also the great view of Lang tang Mountains. Overnights in Gonga.
 
Day 06 : Gonga - Rupchet (3660 m.) 4 hour walk.
Early morning enjoy the view of langatng and Tibet range. After breakfast we hike through deep rhododendron and pine forest, with a good chance to see the animals that include monkeys, Leaped, it i short walk up make difficult because of altitude and the steep up. Either you take early lunch on the way or take late lunch at Rupchet.  Late afternoon is free and easy ,can enjoy the great Himalayan chamre of Tibet range  & Gosaikunda range,Rupchet is Basecamp of Sing-la top and highest  altitude to sleep for your trek.Camping site is nice and big ground.
 
Day 07 : Rupchet - Shing La Pass/Top (4200m.) - Sertunga Kharka (2440 m.) 6-7 hrs walk.
We ought to start our journey early in the early morning to see the sunrise from the top of sing-la . Its takes almost two hour to approach, we mostly need to steps up. From where we can glance the view of Ganesh himal range, Manaslu,,Langtang & Tibet range. After enjoying the scenery we have to descend with the view of Ganesh himal range  and the small valley down. We proceed through the pine & Rhododendron forest, Where we report to the ground beneath the jungle. Today is hardest day of the trek and height altitude you reach. Spend overnight in camp.
 
Day 08 :  Sertunga Kharka  -Shertung village (2000 m.) 3 hours walk.
Approximately for 10-15 minutes we need to walk through jungle, then proceeding through field of corn, maize, Weight, barley etc... Even with the glance of Ganesh himal. We descend down to a remote village of tamang Ghele. Where is also a primary school, half day rest & exploring village. Overnight at shertung village.
 
Day 09 : Shertung Village – Jharlang phedi  (1450m) 6 hour walk.
For few hour easy walk then descending and we approach to Borang village. Where we encounter with tamang peoples, even glancing Ganesh himal view. From Borang village we strain to jharlang through fields and crossing the bridge, glancing the view from way and enjoying. We approach to jharlang And over nights in the yard  If the group is big we even need to stay inside the temple.
 
Day 10 : Jharlang  - Kintang phadi (1000 m.) 6 hours walk.
We continue our trek through down and with a few ups & downs .enjoy great views of the mountains, as we walk through the friendly small villages where the local folks greet us warmly; we also come across nice farmlands with different vegetable grown of which some is consumed by the local folks & the rest is sold in the local bazaar. Then we approach to hot spring. Where we can even bath and proceed on. From the way we can observe the river Netrawati. Kintang phadi is a small valley with mix culture where the river netrawati and kintang rivar are mixed over. Near river side we spend night in camp.
 
Day 11 : Kintang phedi – Serabensi , jamrung (700 m.) 6 hour walk.
Proceeding through rice fields, some small village. it is gradual down,small up and mostly  flat easy walk following the netrawati river side which river comes from Ganesh himal glacier.nice rice feild and terrace and villages makes your walk scenic. you reach Kjhaahre Baazar which is ashoping town for the local around than walk easy way to serabensi  Jyamrung  for overnight, stay at local house. Our company has village development project here.We stay at local house and get involve in daily local life style.
 
Day 12 : Jyamrung (Sharabensi) Stay in a local house and explore locally. 
We get familiar with the surroundings & the families we will be living with. We also spend our time using our skills by teaching at our school project, help in health project in the village s, as we work with the local people & get involved in their daily activities; we can also go fishing, or swimming whichever you prefer. And  we show you all our social project we have done for the locals.
 
Day 13 : Jyamrung (Sharabensi) walk to Sukaura and drive to kathamndu. 30min walk and 5-6 hrs drive.
We cross the river by hanging bridge and take private 4whl waiting from Kathmandu .Half part of road to Dhaidngbensi which is distick headquarter is bumpy and after Dhading bensi drive to Malkheu where we reach highway and to kathamndu which is half part of road is black. It is an scenic drive.
 
Day 14 : Sight seeing to Bhaktipure and rest of the day is shopping or free and easy.
Bhaktapur also known as a  Bhadgaon, stood the capital of Nepal Valley once during the olden days. And today it is a treasure home of medieval arts and architectures. According to a legend this city was founded in 889 A.D. by late King Anand Deb who belonged to the famous Lichhabi dynasty. The whole city takes the relevant shape of a 'Khat-Kon' or David's Star. Bhaktapur signifies the "City of Devotees", The urban sector covers an area of 4 square miles. Pottery plus weaving form its traditional industries. They make the best yogurt of the kingdom; nowadays numerous cottage factories produce masks and wooden handicrafts as well. Bhaktapur is 13 kilometers direct east of Kathmandu After getting into the surreal of Bhaktapur we will drive to Back to kathamndu,  visit our women empowerment  handicraft project, rest of the day free and easy. Spending time with sopping or just chill out.Ovenight at hotel.
 
Day 15 : Our airport representative will transfer to International airport.

General

1.    4 seasons Sleeping bag (Optional/we can provide one if you need it but is to be
       returned after the trek)

Upper Body - Head / Ears / Eyes

1.    Shade hat or baseball cap - some people drape a bandana down the back of their head and
       then put a baseball cap on to hold it is place. This can be a flexible alternative while keeping
       the sun off your ears and neck.
2.    Warm wool or synthetic hat that cover your ears.
3.    Balaclava - lightweight, thinner variety.
4.    Glacier glasses-
5.    Headlamp
6.    Some people like ear-muffs; These are optional; a good hat, balaclava, and hooded jacket
       should really be sufficient, but this is a personal choice for some people (optional).
7.    A neck warmer is another piece of gear for extra warmth if you feel you will need it (optional).

Hand

1.    1 pair liner gloves, thin wool or synthetic, useful alone on mild days or as a layer inside
       other gloves / mitts for additional warmth.
2.    1 pair warm gloves
3.    Instant hand warmers are always nice in a pinch, but really shouldn't be necessary on the trek.
       Bringing appropriate hand protection as recommended above, should be sufficient (optional).

Core Body

1.    T-shirts (2).
2.    Light and expedition weight thermal tops.
3.    Fleece jacket or pullover.
4.    Fleece Wind-Stopper jacket (optional).
5.    Waterproof (preferably breathable fabric) shell jacket.
6.    2 women sports bras, Synthetic, no cotton!
7.    Long shirts(2)

Lower Body – Legs

1.    2 pairs nylon hiking shorts - Quick drying type, not cotton!
2.    Underwear, stay away from cotton (4).
3.    2 pairs lightweight long underwear - capilene or other synthetic.
4.    1 pair soft shell pants - synthetic, full zip from top and bottom preferable.
5.    2 pairs trekking pants, preferably that zip on/off at the knees so they double as shorts.
6.    1 pair hard shell pants. Waterproof / breathable, Gore-Tex or equivalent is best.
       Should zip from the top and bottom - this makes it easier to put on over boots
       without getting undressed should the weather change once you are underway for the day.
7.    1 pair cotton pants (loose jeans/khakis).
8.    All clothing should be kept dry using waterproof stuff sacks or large puncture
       resistant plastic bags.

Feet

1.    2-4 pairs of liner socks, synthetic or capilene.
2.    2-3 pairs heavy weight socks to be worn over liner socks.
3.    1 pair light weight socks, a good option for the lower / warmer parts of the trail.
4.    1 pair light to medium weight water proof hiking/trekking boots. Ensure a good fit with
       layered socks and you have worn then before to get used to it
       (otherwise you will get lots of blister).
5.    1 pair light trekking shoes or sneakers. Good for around the camp/lodges and in Kathmandu.
6.    1 pair sandals (Optional).

Medicines and First Aid Kits

(Please note our guide will also carry the first aid kit bag during the trek. However we still recommend you to bring your personal first aid kit as well)

1.    Extra Strength Excedrin for altitude related headaches.
2.    Ibuprofen for general aches and pains.
3.    Immodium or Pepto bismol capsules for upset stomach or diarrhea.
4.    Diamox (commonly prescribed as Acetazolamide) 125 or 250mg tablets for altitude sickness.
       Please discuss with us before starting to take this medicine.
5.    1 small personal sized first-aid kit with blister treatments such as mole skin, band-aids,
       some waterproof tape, anti-infection ointments, etc. Your guides will have more extensive
       medical gear, but you should have the basics for general use.

Miscellaneous

1.    Passport and extra passport photos (4 copies).
2.    Airline ticket (Please make a copy and leave on at our office in KTM
       just in case if you need to change the date of your).
3.    Durable wallet / pouch for travel documents, money & passport.
4.    Lip balm. At least SPF 20, 2 sticks. A string taped to the stick is helpful, to hang around your
       neck and some are now being sold with a cord already attached. Handy as it avoids you
       from having to stop and look for it.
5.    Sunscreen. SPF 40 is recommended and should be relatively new since it loses
       its' effectiveness over time.
6.    Pocket knife or small Swiss Army type.
7.    Water purification Iodine tablets or Polar-pure crystals.
8.    Toiletry kit. Be sure to include toilet paper stored in a plastic bag, hand wipes,
       and liquid hand sanitizer, towel, soap, etc.
9.    2 bandanas.

Optional

1.    1 pair adjustable trekking poles. Although these are listed as optional, these can be of great
       assistance to people who may think of themselves and generally clumsy or with bad knees,
       ankles, etc, especially when going downhill
2.    Favorite snack foods
3.    Paperback books, cards, mp3 player (there are a couple of stops where you could recharge.
       Avoid players with moving hardware as it may not function.
       Remember, keep these items light weight
4.    Binoculars
5.    1 light weight point & shoot camera or 1 large SLR. Digital cameras are ok, but you must keep
       the batteries warm when not in use
6.    Hydration bladder with drinking tube and tube insulator
7.    A pee bottle for men and pee funnel for woman, some swear by them to avoid
       that chilly late night trip
8.    1 small stainless steel thermos
