The Kathmandu Valley Rim Mountain Biking Trip takes you to strikingly scenic places on the rim. You will explore the wonderful places of Mulkharka, Chisapani, Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, and Namo Buddha on your mountain bike. This professionally guided, multiple-day trip shows you the countryside around Kathmandu Valley, the magnificent Himalayan range, natural scenic settings, and the serene atmosphere. You will also be able to experience the local life and culture during this sublime mountain biking trip around the Kathmandu Valley Rim.

Itenerary

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu international airport, our representative will meet and welcome you to Nepal and then you will be transferred to the hotel. Once you finish the check-in procedure, you can rest and relax at the hotel. After short rest, we take you short Thamel tour which is main tourist hub in Kathmandu to make you familiar with some good restaurants, ATMs, money changer, Supermarket, gear shop and other necessary things you might need for your trip. After a short explore you will be taken to our office for a trip briefing meeting. Overnight in hotel. If your arrival is late today, this tour and trip briefing will be shifted for tomorrow.
After having breakfast we will proceed the sightseeing. Pashupatinath Temple: It is a most famous Hindu temple devoted to Lord Shiva, located beside the Bagmati River. One of the most significant temples for the Hindu devotees around the world and a UNESCO site. The golden pagoda-style temple is richly carved with silver doors. On the day of Shivaratri, a big fair is held around the month of February/March. Boudhanath stupa: One of the biggest Stupas in the world is located in the east of Kathmandu. It stands with four pairs of eyes in the four prime directions, keeping watch for virtuous behavior and human success. King Man Deva at the advice of the Goddess Mani Jogini had built this remarkable Stupa. The Stupa resembles the Mahayana philosophy. After back from the tour you have some time to rest and prepare your gear and so on. Overnight in a hotel.
We start the ride after breakfast at hotel in Kathmandu. The ride goes northward through Kathmandu city to get out of it into a serene natural atmosphere. We need to be tolerant and careful with the Kathmandu traffic as long as we drive through the city part. Once we reach Sundarijal, we find and experience peaceful natural atmosphere. We ride in an uphill track towards Mulkharka, a beautiful village where the rural life around Kathmandu valley can be very well experienced. We stay overnight today at Mulkharka.
Another day of uphill ride, we start early in the morning towards Chisapani, a beautiful, small village in the rim which allows us a magnificent view of the Himalayan range and other beautiful natural settings. The joyful uphill ride will come to stop at Chisapani only to go around in an exploration of the nature and local life style. At times we can inhale the fresh mountain air and absorb the magical Himalayan beauty. Stay overnight at Chisapani.
We start our ride for the day to Nagarkot after breakfast.  The ride goes past beautiful villages and forested areas where we can find only the serenity and friendliness. The stretch provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the magnificence of the Himalayan peaks. Most of the section of the stretch is a jeep track where we need to pedal some gentle uphill before reaching Nagarkot. Stay overnight at Nagarkot.
We wake up early for a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas. Although we can experience sunrise from almost every place we are visiting in the rim, the one from Nagarkot is more special one as this place attracts many people. We start riding towards Dhulikhel today after breakfast at hotel. We ride past forested area and villages before reaching Dhulikhel. Overnight in Hotel.
Today we take a day trip to Namo Buddha where we can explore rural life and a beautiful Buddhist monastery. After spending good time at and around Namo Buddha, we take our return ride back to Dhulikhel for the night’s stop. Overnight in  Hotel.
We start early morning ride back to Kathmandu. This stretch is all on the highway that connects Kathmandu with Tibetan border at Tatopani in the east. Once we reach in Kathmandu, we will have free afternoon. Take some relaxing stroll around the streets of Thamel, find a soothing massage or simply sit in a restaurant enjoying some chilled beer. Overnight in Hotel.
Today we will walk around the local town in Kathmandu to experience the historical, cultural, and spiritual affluence to unveil the social and historical mysteries to view the artistic Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour to capture the snaps of the centuries-old monuments and historical crafts in the Kathmandu city. We explore the Local market of Ason, glass beads market at Indrachowk, the oldest supermarket at New Road, Kilagal, and Hidden Stupa, etc. Then we walk to Kathmandu Durbar Square. The most unique experience in the square is the visit to the temple of the living goddess “Kumari”. Durbar square walking tour will be a perfect mixture of culture, history, art, architecture and traditional values prevalent in Kathmandu valley. Overnight at Hotel.
As per your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the international airport of Kathmandu 3 hours prior to the flight time and your tour ends here.
