Marshyangdi River Rafting Overview

The Marshyangdi River is one of Nepal's most difficult steep rivers for thrilling white water rafting. The name Marshyangdi meaning "The Raging River" itself reveals how persistent and powerful it is. The rapids in the river fall under the class IV and V category, making it the best rafting and kayaking river in the world. Marshyangdi River Rafting offers you an experience of passing through steep downhills, technical roaring rapids, turbulences, and sharp bends along with splendor views of the Himalayas, landscape, culture, vegetation, and the colorful valley of Marshyangdi.

The 150 km long Marshyandi River meanders through the northern slope of Annapurna Himal. It flows east across an arid valley at Manang and eventually swings towards the south to meet the Trishuli River in Mugling. Rafting in the Marshyangdi River was commercially opened in 1996. If you are an adventure lover, seeking a challenging and strenuous rafting trip, this Marshyangdi River Rafting trip is just for you and is best suited to those individuals having previous rafting experience.
