Balthali Village Trek takes you through Kathmandu Valley, as the village is only 40 kilometers away from the valley. The trek is ideal for those looking for a gentle, multi-day hike and is also suitable for a family trip. The multi-day walk begins and concludes in Kathmandu, winding through Buddhist monasteries and rural hamlets, including the charming Balthali village.

The village is close to Bhaktapur, Panauti, Namobuddha, and Dhulikhel. A trek to this place provides views of panoramic Himalayan peaks and lush terrace lands on the north horizon. A trip through a pure village, such as this one, provides a wonderful impression of passing through local culture. Similarly, this is a perfect spot for those who love to spend time in nature and enjoy bird watching. 

Mountain Delights Treks and Expeditions is happy to take you on an unspoiled and unique trail to Balthali and provide you with the delightful experience of a refreshing hike. The journey from Kathmandu to Dhulikhel, a lovely town, begins earlier for this hike. The journey then continues up the hill to the Namobuddha monastery, which has an important history as a Buddhist monastery. The hiking trail is serene, with beautiful scenery. The resort, which is perched on a mountaintop, will be our home during our trip. The ethnic Tamang community inhabits the neighboring villages, each with its own culture, traditions, and customs. Our return hiking journey takes a different route to Khopasi than the one we took to get there. From Khopasi, we drive back to Kathmandu.
