The lake near our campsite has giant trout fish that is what it is famous for. Overnight in Camp.
We will trek to Simkota Tsho today. The walk goes on the trail that passes through rhododendron forest, actually, look like rhododendron bush because of the small size of the trees as the result of high elevation effect on their growth. The final section of the trek today that takes us to our campsite is a steep downhill walk. We will walk for about 4 hours before reaching Simkota Tsho at the elevation of 4040 meters above sea level. Overnight in Camp.
We will spend another 4 hours on the trail that takes us to Phajoding for the overnight stay.
